About The Role
As an Accounts Assistant within our Cargo team, you’ll support the accurate and timely processing of financial and cargo-related data using key systems such as CASS (IATA Cargo Accounts Settlement Systems). This role plays a vital part in ensuring revenue is accurately captured, additional charges are correctly applied, and customer service remains exceptional across reservations and invoicing processes.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to resolve account queries, issue corrections, and maintain compliance with finance and cargo procedures. If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and systems, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the role for you.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Experience in airline cargo, freight forwarding, or logistics operations
2. Solid understanding of air waybill processing, additional charges, and customer contracts
3. Experience using industry-standard cargo and accounting systems
4. High numerical accuracy and confidence managing data entry and reconciliations
5. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to generate and format reports
6. Knowledge of airline cargo procedures and import/export flows is an advantage
