Used Car Sales Manager - Preston
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join a well-established dealership in Preston as a Used Car Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to lead a dedicated team and contribute significantly to the dealership's success.
The successful Sales Manager will play a key responsibility in managing, motivating, and developing the sales team to optimise performance and achieve sales and profit targets. You will oversee the sale of used vehicles, finance, and insurance products while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Duties as a Used Car Sales Manager will include:
6. Lead, manage, and develop a team of four used car sales executives to meet and exceed sales targets
7. Drive profitability through effective management of vehicle sales, finance, and insurance products.
8. Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction to promote repeat business and loyalty
9. Ensure all deals comply with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and FCA regulations
10. Follow up promptly on all customer inquiries and leads to maximise sales opportunities
11. Oversee all aspects of compliance and documentation related to finance proposals and insurance sales
12. Build strong relationships with internal departments and finance providers to support sales activities
13. Support the senior management team and deputise when required
Requirements needed for this Used Car Sales Manager vacancy:
14. Proven experience as a Sales Manager within the automotive industry, particularly in used vehicle sales.
15. Strong understanding of finance, insurance, and FCA compliance standards
16. Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
