We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Behaviour Mentor to join our enthusiastic team. We want individuals passionate about working in a learning environment with complex but rewarding children. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals, taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals or groups, monitoring pupils, and recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress, and development. The successful candidates will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement for all pupils. Additionally, you will use effective behaviour regulation strategies consistently in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

The school is recruiting for a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor to work with young people aged 11 to 16 in a Pupil Referral Unit setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and support their access to education. You will provide guidance and support both in the classroom and with their social and emotional development.
