Overview

The Customer Experience & Marketing team has an exciting opportunity for two Sales and Customer Experience Learning Specialists to join. The role involves working remotely with frequent visits to London and national travel to deliver face-to-face training.

We seek candidates who excel at building strong consultative relationships and rapport. This is a great opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated sales professional interested in in-house work focused on enhancing the Barchester brand standards.

Your role is to deliver effective learning solutions across Barchester Healthcare, aimed at increasing occupancy by converting inquiries and short stays into permanent residency.


Required Skills and Experience

* Proven growth in commercial success through learning interventions
* Experience as a Learning and Development specialist, with a focus on sales and conversion
* Understanding of best practices in sales and customer experience in fast-paced, multi-channel environments
* Full UK driving license and ability to travel across the UK, including overnight stays
* Knowledge of customer experience design and change management


Responsibilities

* Analyze current enquiry and sales practices, understanding the customer journey
* Identify missed opportunities in customer experience and resident experience, including Life Enrichment
* Develop training to improve conversion rates using customer insights
* Conduct training needs analysis and propose programs to enhance performance
* Create training materials aligned with Learning and Development standards and brand tone
* Design structured learning for occupancy and customer experience improvements, including technical and skill-based training
* Support digital and blended learning approaches, collaborating with operators for optimal delivery
* Travel nationally to deliver face-to-face training where necessary
* Prepare and ensure high-quality training delivery
* Implement training modules into Barchester’s Learning and Development platform and HRIS, including testing
* Maintain resources supporting sales and occupancy success for current and future leaders
* Provide one-to-one coaching to leaders as needed
