An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspiring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. This full-time position is to begin in September and will continue for the full academic year, with the potential for a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Reception Teacher, you will:
* Deliver the EYFS curriculum in a creative, engaging, and age-appropriate way that supports learning through play and structured activities.
* Plan and implement high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
* Observe, assess, and record each child's progress, using formative and summative assessments to inform planning and support.
* Foster strong relationships with children, staff, and families, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
* Work alongside experienced Early Years practitioners and support staff to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and curiosity in all pupils while upholding the school's values and safeguarding responsibilities.
* Attend staff meetings, training, and CPD opportunities to continuously develop your professional practice.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience within EYFS, ideally with a strong understanding of Reception-year expectations.
* A thorough knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child development milestones.
* Experience of using assessment tools such as the EYFS Profile or Tapestry (desirable but not essential).
* The ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are inclusive and differentiated to support a range of learners, including SEND and EAL.
* A nurturing, patient, and positive approach to teaching, with a clear commitment to child-centred education.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Strong organisational, communication, and team-working skills.
