How you’ll power our business as a Tank Refurbishment Operative
As a Tank Refurbishment Operative, you will ensure our LPG vessels are safe, compliant, and suitable for continued use. Your tasks will include de-gassing, shotblasting, re-valving, pressure testing, and paint spraying. You may also assist in assembling automotive fuel dispensing units. This role involves working with tools and equipment such as FLTs and HIABs in a safety-critical environment. Responsibilities include moving vessels around the site, conducting detailed inspections, and collaborating with a supportive team to deliver high-quality results. We provide full training, help you develop technical skills, and support our commitment to doing energy right for the future.
Although Flogas has a fossil fuels background, we are working towards delivering 100% renewable energy by 2040. We already help customers reduce emissions by switching from oil to gas, and are developing offerings like heat pumps, solar panels, bio-fuels, and renewable gases. What we’ll need from you
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
* Responsible behavior in a safety-critical environment
* Visual acuity to the required standard (with corrective lenses if needed)
* Counterbalance and semi all-terrain FLT license
