Commercial Manager - Flexibility Location: Energy Systems

We’re on the hunt for a Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Flexibility Team at Northern Powergrid.
If you’re an experienced Commercial Manager, who is confident and able to influence internal and external stakeholders, this is your chance to play a key role in delivering flexibility solutions to help develop and operate our network more efficiently.
Along with a competitive salary of between £60,000 - £75,000 we also offer great benefits such as;

Work as part of our Commercial Flexibility team to develop the flexibility market within the Yorkshire and Northeast regions
Develop new Flexibility product types and commercial models, alongside industry working groups, to create new opportunities for flexibility services, including Low Voltage (LV) flexibility and integration with National Energy System Operator flexibility services
Maintain market intelligence over developing flexibility markets and products and develop the internal thinking on how we can best position ourselves for the future of flexibility
Strong commercial skills to develop and assess the value proposition of new and innovative product offerings
Strong project management skills, including financial management
Advanced IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
A good understanding of the journey to net zero and the technologies and policy changes that will enable decarbonisation
Previous experience working with energy network flexibility services is desirable
Full driving licence is desirable
