Procurement & Supplier Quality Manager
Location: Leeds / Remote
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000
Procurement and Quality Manager required for a large Automotive client in Leeds. This is a hybrid role, working from home 3 days per week.
As the Procurement and Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the sourcing and procurement of components, materials, and services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at optimal costs. You will also be actively involved in the development of new products and help manage their lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry, strong technical foundations, excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record in procurement and supplier quality management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement global procurement strategies and plans.
2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
3. Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and secure long-term partnerships.
4. Ensure supplier deliveries reflect forecasts and schedules, and address (potential) issues as required.
