* Position: Bookkeeper – Finance Administrator
* Salary: £28,000 per year for full time hours, very good company benefits including an excellent pension scheme and a yearly allowance of £750 from the benefits platform
* Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
* Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, 35 hours per week. Office based role only
* Role based close to Burgess Hill in a rural setting with plenty of free parking for staff on-site. Due to workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.

We are delighted to be working on an exclusive agency arrangement with our successful and professional client as they seek to recruit a full time Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator to join their team at their offices close to Burgess, in a unique and beautiful rural setting. This role is an office based full time (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business who have very strong staff retention levels.

Although full time hours are preferred, my client will also consider part time applicants over three full working days or four or five part days.

The role – Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator

The Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator will report to the Commercial Director and will assist the co-ordination of office activities and operations.

Duties will include:

* Undertaking the treasury/invoicing functions
* Chasing outstanding client invoices
* Answering phone calls and forwarding to the relevant person
* Support the documentation of finance functions
* Booking of travel and accommodation
* Supporting the production of monthly pension payment spreadsheets
* Supporting the management of process/policy documentation.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
* Good team player
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good IT skills, especially Excel
* A methodical approach and good problem-solving skills
* Good numeracy levels
