Overview
Teaching Assistant Level 3 plus SSA. Grade E, £23,351 - £24,944 plus SSA £1,339 - £1,364 (depending upon length of service). Full Time - 37 hours per week term time only. Permanent. To start October 2025 subject to DBS and reference checks.

Responsibilities
* Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. (Essential)
* Possess excellent literacy and mathematics skills. (Essential; qualifications to be provided at interview)
* Demonstrate an understanding of SEND learners with ASC and/or physical disabilities
* Demonstrate an understanding of bespoke pathways and specific intervention approaches to support a range of SEND learners
* Organise and prepare resources appropriate to children’s ability and needs
* Maintain a high quality learning environment
* Follow, contribute and share schemes of work for all subjects taught
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Understand how best to support children's personal, social and emotional wellbeing
* Be able to motivate and inspire children to learn
* Be able to use ICT to support learning
* Be able to support the needs and development of all learners in an inclusive school
* Have a secure knowledge in supporting learners with a diagnosis of autism
* Work alongside the class teacher, SENDCo and other practitioners to meet statutory needs of learners’ Educational Health Care Plans

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August. Therefore, if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.
