SRG is excited to be working with a well-established life sciences organisation that is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis. Join at a very exciting time for the business.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all plant and equipment to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. The role involves ensuring all plant and equipment operate within their specified parameters to guarantee operator safety and minimise production costs for clients.
This position is site-based in Stirling, working 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include 30 days of holiday plus 4 Scottish statutory bank and public holidays, a pension scheme, critical illness insurance, death in service benefit, and an annual bonus scheme. There are also excellent development opportunities available.
Overtime is available, and flexibility around additional working hours is required.
Requirements:
* HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering; a degree-level qualification is desirable.
* Recent experience working in a regulated environment in a broad engineering or technical capacity.
* Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance bias is considered.
* Experience with change control management.
* Skills in equipment and facilities maintenance and repair.
* Management of contractors.
* Working knowledge of clean room standards and medicinal product regulations.
* Understanding of laboratory/clean room processing equipment and facility services (balances, pumps, VLAF cabinets, plant steam, clean steam WFI, HVAC, etc.).
* Understanding of GMP guidelines.
