Location: Ryde Police Station
Salary: Scale 6 £32,247 - £34,329 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract - Temporary for 14 months

About the Role
To ensure effective administrative Management of MAPPA processes by
directing and supporting police activity within a multi-agency framework.
To maintain all MAPPA Records and provide support to the Offender
Management Team.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to :
1. To support in the MAPPA Management of Offenders and
safeguarding vulnerable people in accordance with the statutory
MAPPA frameworks.
2. To assess referrals of MAPPA Offenders to determine the
appropriate police team to manage the risk according to Hampshire
Constabulary policy.
3. To work with local and national MAPPA partners including other
Police Services, Probation Service, National Health Service, Prison
service and the Military Services to share information in relation to
risk, improve public safety and service delivery in accordance with
information sharing policy.
4. To coordinate and minute relevant statutory and non-statutory
discussions, meetings and conferences as appropriate.
5. To maintain all relevant Police systems including the Records
Management System (RMS), the Violent and Sexual Offenders
Register System (VISOR), the Offender Management Team
MAPPA Nominal Dashboard.
6. To ensure that all agreed police actions are effectively
communicated to the appropriate Police team and Partners.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to Educated to QCF Level 2 (6 passes
including Mathematics and English) OR work experience
deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
To be competent in the use of windows based computerised
systems, specifically Word and Excel
Essential Experience
Considerable experience working in a busy office
environment and Clerical and administrative duties.
