About the Role:
We are recruiting for a full-time Level 3 TA to join a welcoming mainstream school in Coleshill, Birmingham. You will provide vital support to teachers and pupils across the school, with some SEN responsibilities, working closely with children who may have additional needs including ASD and ADHD.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom learning across a range of year groups, predominantly in a mainstream setting
Assist in delivering targeted SEN support under the guidance of teachers and SENCO
Work closely with pupils to support learning, behaviour, and social development
Help implement personalised learning plans and support pupils with additional needs
Support pupils with physical and communication challenges where required
What We’re Looking For:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in mainstream schools, with some SEN knowledge and expertise
Confident in supporting children with a variety of needs, including ASD and ADHD
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils’ development
Location:
Mainstream school based in Coleshill, Birmingham
Contract:
Full-time role, long-term contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
