I’m recruiting exclusively for a major UK food manufacturer (a household name in fresh chilled products!) seeking a strategic Head of Engineering to transform operations across two Nottinghamshire sites. This is a rare opportunity to own engineering excellence at scale – driving proactive strategy, innovation, and team leadership for a business investing heavily in its future.
Your Impact:
Own the Engineering Vision: Develop and execute proactive maintenance strategies across 2 sites
Master of PPM: Optimise planned maintenance systems to maximise uptime
CAPEX Leadership: Manage multi-million £ investment plans
Innovation Partner: Collaborate with NPD/Operations to launch new products
End-to-End Project Ownership: Lead critical engineering initiatives from design to handover
We Need You If You Have:
▪️ Proven Food Manufacturing Pedigree: FMCG
▪️ Technical Credibility: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering foundation
▪️ Leadership Muscle: Experience managing multi-site engineering teams
▪️ Proactive Mindset: Passion for moving from firefighting to prevention
