Enterprise Architect (Remote/Home Based)
Large retail business – Permanent full time position – Salary up to £90k plus bonus, healthcare and more! – Remote/home-based role.
A successful retail brand is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their growing IT function on a permanent basis. This role will focus on developing the roadmaps, frameworks and enterprise architecture across business, data, applications and infrastructure. While the company has offices in the East Midlands area, this role can be fully remote. Working as part of a team focused on IT modernisation and transformation, duties will include:
Responsibilities
- Leading the architecture strategy and design
- Working with the wider team and senior stakeholders to strategically align business transformation goals to technology solutions
- Define architecture standards and frameworks
- Leading and guiding solution and technical architecture
- Creating a solid overview of the current environment and developing future technology roadmaps
- Planning the move away from legacy systems to new digital technology and cloud migration
Qualifications
To be considered suitable for this IT Enterprise Architect role you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A strong background in enterprise architecture across business, data, applications and infrastructure from a strategic perspective
- Experience within either the retail, healthcare, pharma or travel sector
- Good understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- A background in delivering on modernisation/transformation programmes
- Strong communication skills and ability to present at senior level
