Sharp is seeking a PC Build Engineer to join a small team based at our West Bromwich site.
The successful candidate will work to tight schedules, defined processes and specified build configurations.
We are looking for a locally based, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and relevant experience in building and configuring PCs and laptops.
The role is based at our West Bromwich site 5 days a week, usual working hours are 8.30-5.00
Assemble and configure PCs and laptops based on client specifications, ensuring each build meets exacting standards and performance requirements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of hardware and software to guarantee reliability and performance before deployment.
Maintain accurate records of all builds, including specifications, configurations, and testing results.
Inventory Management: Manage and track inventory of components and peripherals to ensure availability and minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that arise during the build process.
Timescales: Work within set timescales and SLAs to ensure timely delivery of builds, without compromising on quality.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements to continually improve build processes and solutions.
Experience in building and configuring PCs and laptops.
* Knowledge of PC hardware components, operating systems, and software applications
* Experience with Microsoft autopilot and Windows 11 is ideal.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing client requirements and project scopes.
