Trust Photographer & Marketing Officer
Permanent, Full Time, Full Year. To commence ASAP.
Part Time or Term Time only may be considered for the right candidate.
Salary: Points 11-14 of the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff pay spine, currently £28,634- £31,324 per annum.
The Role
The Pinnacle Learning Trust is looking to appoint a permanent Photographer and Marketing Officer, to commence as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to capture the life of our trust and our academies through high quality photography and creative imagery. You will play a key role in promoting our values, achievements, and community.
In addition to the core responsibilities of photography and marketing, the role will allow you to develop and practise your skills within graphic design and/or videography. You will support the creation of visually engaging design materials, including digital and print assets, ensuring consistency with the trust’s branding. You will also have the opportunity to plan, film, and edit high‑quality video content to support promotional campaigns, events, and internal communications.
This role will primarily be based at Oldham Sixth Form College but will involve some travel to other sites within the OL8 postcode area: The Hathershaw College; Werneth Primary School; Broadfield Primary School; and Alexandra Park Junior School.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling work with trust staff and external stakeholders, sharing clear messaging and content. You will work well as part of a team, but will also be able to take on work independently, having excellent written, interpersonal and IT skills, and an eye for detail. These skills will see you work with the Marketing Manager on a wide range of promotional design projects and related website and social media channels, ensuring design and branding are consistent with our high standards. Taking the lead on select projects, you will develop, create and design content to drive the trust’s community presence both online and offline.
