Business Intelligence Analyst
Salary – £53,095 - £66,369
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

What will you be doing?
* Managing and maintaining group budgeting, forecasting and business planning tools
* Supporting the business to ensure planning and reporting outputs are accurate, complete and clearly understood
* Delivering high quality outputs from group planning and reporting tools
* Writing and optimising SQL stored procedures and designing SQL Agent jobs
* Building ETL pipelines using SSIS (Extract, Transform & Load)
* Creating Power BI data models using Power Query (M) and DAX
* Developing Power BI reports, including paginated reports
* Creating Power Automate flows to support business processes
* Maintaining and improving existing reporting models
* Ensuring data quality across key KPIs and core data sources
* Analysing and interpreting data to support business development and performance improvement
* Building strong working relationships across the organisation to promote an information led culture
* Designing and delivering end user training and support materials
* Providing hands on support to internal stakeholders
What are we looking for?
* Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst
* Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
* Strong SQL Server / T SQL skills
* Strong ETL skills and experience handling high volume data transformations
* Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query (M)
* Experience using SSIS and Power Automate
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Experience working with financial data (advantageous)
* Project management skills
* Background in the waste, utilities, manufacturing or processing industries (advantageous)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
* Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel within the UK when required
