Join to apply for the Support Worker - Relief role at Community Integrated Care.
We are recruiting relief staff to support two young men with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes in Aberchirder. The young men are outgoing and enjoy activities such as going to the movies and theatre, playing football, and socialising with others. You will support them with daily living tasks and enable them to do things any young adult would do.
Responsibilities
* Spend your shift with the person you support, making a meaningful impact on their lives
* Assist with personal care and household tasks (cooking and cleaning)
* Provide social support and help with activities and outings
* Follow the training provided to perform duties safely and effectively
* Offer support in line with individuals’ routines and preferences
* Shift patterns may include a sleepover, weekends, and weekdays as part of relief staffing
Shift Patterns
* 9am - 9am (includes sleepover)
* 9am - 3pm (weekends)
* 4.30pm - 9.30pm (weekdays)
Requirements
* A UK Driving License is Essential for this Role
* We recruit based on values and from diverse backgrounds; experience in care is not required
* Patience, empathy, reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic are valued
* Willingness to undertake training and development; PPE will be provided
* Location: Aberchirder, Scotland (support across the local area as needed)
