Retail Team Coordinator with VM experience required
Our client, a leading luxury retail jewellery chain is looking for a Retail Team Coordinator to start 28 th July until end December 2025.
Details: Temporary assignment paying £20.00 -£22.00 per hour plus holiday pay in addition. Hybrid working: Mon-Frid role with option to work 1 day per week from home (4days per week in office (based Oxford Circus).
The Local Retail Team Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of boutiques in accordance with brands guidelines. This role involves working closely with the Store Environment Manager and actively supporting boutique staff in mastering tools and services, as well as adhering to established processes and procedures. Additionally, the Coordinator will play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive boutique environment through support of Visual Merchandising, Store Design and Maintenance initiatives. The position requires regular travel between boutiques and the office and may occasionally require responsiveness outside of standard working hours.
Retail Operations / Boutique Projects
- Coordinate maintenance projects from planning through execution, including scheduling, contractor negotiation, and budget monitoring.
- Manage all logistics and administrative tasks; serve as the main contact for contractors and boutique team, overseeing works from initiation to final inspection to ensure quality and compliance.
- Provide hands-on, on-site support for boutique installations and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation for project schedules, budgets, warranties, and service records.
Boutique Environment
- Assist the Store Environment Manager in promoting a boutique atmosphere that reflects the brands image and quality standards.
- Organize and lead regular maintenance follow-up meetings with boutique teams to monitor task completion and scheduling.
- Liaise with local shared services (Maintenance, IT, Security) to address operational issues impacting boutiques.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of VM tools and store furniture, ensuring proper stock levels in both boutiques and the warehouse.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse teams to track shipment and resolve shipment issues.
- Manage vendor setup, purchase order creation, invoice processing.

Ensure that processes, procedures, and guidelines are properly communicated, understood, implemented, and respected by all boutiques.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong coordination and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic retail environment.
The Retail Team coordinator is part of the Local Retail team reporting to the Retail Director.
