Assistant Scientist – Water Quality Monitoring

Role Overview
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of a wide range of water quality monitoring equipment and support the operation of our quality assurance system. Your work helps produce high‑resolution evidence that underpins the Agency’s regulatory responsibilities and our real‑time water quality monitoring services.
Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain water quality monitoring equipment.
* Assist in operating the quality assurance system.
* Provide incident role support and business continuity during incidents (additional payment available).
Qualifications & Experience
* Enthusiastic, motivated, with laboratory or workshop experience preferred.
* Interest in science or engineering.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
* GCSE English, maths and science would be an advantage but not essential.
* All training will be provided.
