About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ mixed, non-faith secondary school in Taunton. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS4 and KS5, delivering an engaging curriculum that develops students’ fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS4 and KS5
Motivate and inspire students to develop analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
Track and assess student progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support
Contribute to the development of an innovative and challenging Mathematics curriculum
Support enrichment activities, including Maths clubs, UKMT/competitions, university links, and study visits
Maintain high expectations of student achievement and behaviour

About You
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
QTS (PGCE or equivalent) with the ability to teach KS4–KS5
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
Commitment to high-quality teaching and student achievement
