Design Coordinator – Civil Engineering

We are currently looking to recruit a Design Coordinator to support delivery on a major civil engineering project based in Kenilworth. This is a key role within the team, coordinating design activities across multiple disciplines on a technically challenging scheme.
This opportunity is available on either a freelance (CIS) or permanent basis.
The Role
* Coordinate and manage the design process across the project lifecycle
* Act as the key link between site teams, consultants, and client representatives
* Review and manage design deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements
* Drive design programmes and ensure information is issued in line with construction needs
* Identify and resolve design issues, clashes, and buildability concerns
* Support commercial and delivery teams with design-related queries
About You
* Previous experience in a Design Coordinator / Design Engineer / Design Manager role within civil engineering
* Strong background in reinforced concrete (RC) structures
* Experience working on infrastructure, highways, or heavy civils schemes
* Good understanding of design standards, specifications, and buildability
* Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work to tight deadlines
* Strong communication and organisational skills
