We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy based in Warrington. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced ecologist looking to lead projects, support junior team members, and contribute to high-quality environmental outcomes.
Responsibilities
* You will work on a variety of projects across sectors including residential, infrastructure, renewable energy, and conservation.
* The role involves survey planning and coordination, reporting, licensing, stakeholder engagement, and providing clear, practical ecological advice to clients.

Qualifications
* A degree in ecology or a related subject
* Significant experience in ecological consultancy
* Strong field skills and experience in a range of habitat and species surveys
* At least one protected species licence (e.g., bats, great crested newts)
* Excellent report writing and ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time
* A solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
* Experience in project management and client liaison
* Full CIEEM membership (or eligibility)
* A full, clean UK driving licence
