GSL Education are looking for a skilled Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join schools in Doncaster. The Design and Technology (DT) Teacher will deliver hands-on lessons that develop students’ technical skills, creativity, and understanding of design processes across key stages.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Teach a range of practical skills, including design, construction, and use of tools and materials.
* Encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
* Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience working as Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in practical environments.
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
