As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security‑related incidents and respond quickly to potential concerns. This role requires carrying a concealed weapon and driving as part of your patrol duties. You will interact professionally with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You'll Do
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following location-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities.
* Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential incidents and promote a secure environment.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Operate and maintain awareness of any site-specific systems or protocols related to security-related functions.
* Complete required reports and documentation of incidents and daily activities as instructed by Allied Universal and the client site.
Minimum Requirements
* A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
* A minimum of one year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
