GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Music to join a supportive school in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can nurture musical talent, encourage creativity, and help students build confidence through performance, composition, and musical understanding.
Responsibilities of Music Teacher:
* Offer engaging Music lessons across Key Stages.
* Teach core musical skills including performance, composition, theory, and listening.
* Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence through practical and theory-based work.
* Track and assess student progress, providing meaningful feedback and support.
* Work closely with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and contribute to musical events or extracurricular activities.
What You’ll Bring as Music Teacher:
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music within a school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love for music.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
