GCSE Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tutoring and academic support to GCSE level students
* Create lesson plans and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve
* Prepare students for GCSE exams through targeted revision and exam practise
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
A relevant degree in the subject area
Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the subject area
Experience:
Previous teaching or tutoring experience at GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and engage students
* Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in the subject area
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis
May require travel to students' homes or tutoring centres
Flexible working hours based on student availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
