Job Description TIG Welder Pay Rate : £16.00 per hour Location : Uxbridge, Middlesex Hours : Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week) Start Date : ASAP Type : Permanent Are you an experienced TIG Welder looking to join a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Uxbridge? This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-specification assemblies in a busy and professional production environment. You’ll be welding safety-critical components for the aerospace industry using aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel. Brazing experience is desirable, but not essential – full support and training will be provided if needed. What’s in it for you? £16.00 per hour basic Overtime paid at time and a half 25 days holiday bank holidays Excellent company pension Free on-site parking Career development within a world-class engineering team TIG Welder Responsibilities: TIG welding a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel Working from engineering drawings and SOPs to complete sub-assemblies Self-inspecting work and performing basic quality checks Occasional brazing/silver soldering (training available if needed) Assembling parts using hand tools and fixtures What we’re looking for: Proven experience with TIG welding techniques on Stainless Steel Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings Previous exposure to brazing or silver soldering is advantageous (not essential) Experience working in aerospace or another precision manufacturing environment is beneficial To apply, click the apply button and submit your CV.
