Radiology Administration Manager

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Manager to join the Radiology Department within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).
The post holder will be responsible for the operational and daily management of admin and clerical staff, support the Radiology Service Management team, contribute to business cases and operational plans, provide support to achieve Welsh Government standards, and produce statistical reports from RadIS/Soliton, WPAS, Power BI and Synapse/Philips.
Job Responsibilities
* Operational and daily management of admin and clerical staff within the Radiology Department.
* Support Radiology Service Management in implementing organisational changes.
* Assist management team in achieving key operational and strategic objectives.
* Provide support in achieving standards laid out by the Welsh Government.
* Ensure routine and ad‑hoc information is provided to support monitoring and evaluation of service objectives.
* Work closely with other managers to ensure a co‑ordinated approach to service delivery.
* Provide and analyse statistical information, produce reports via RadIS/Soliton, WPAS, Power BI and Synapse/Philips.
Essential Qualifications & Knowledge
* Degree level or equivalent.
* Knowledge of Radiology Services.
* Knowledge of administration and clerical processes and procedures.
* Knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, RadIS/Soliton, Synapse/Philips, Power BI and Welsh PAS computerised programmes.
Desirable Qualifications
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
* ILM level 3.
* Experience of using other NHS Systems (WIS, WPAS, WCP, etc.).
* Experience in using RadIS/Soliton/Synapse/Philips.
* Welsh language speaking & listening skills at Level 3 or above.

* Standard keyboard and audio typing skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent telephone skills and ability to deal with staff at all levels.
