Overview:
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation within the South Yorkshire legal market. Known for delivering high-quality personal injury work and investing in their people, the firm has recently experienced growth through acquisition and internal progression.
Due to this continued growth, they are now seeking experienced Personal Injury Litigators to join their busy and high-performing personal injury department in Sheffield. This opportunity is open to Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, and fee earners qualified by experience, offering flexibility around background and specialism, alongside clear career development and long-term progression.
Position:
The successful candidate will manage a litigated personal injury caseload, working closely with a senior director and the wider team. The role is open to professionals with experience in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims and/or Employer’s Liability / Public Liability (EL/PL) matters.
Caseloads will be tailored to experience, covering fast-track, intermediate-track, and/or multi-track claims. Candidates with a broad, generalist background across multiple claim types and track levels are welcomed, as are those with a more specialist focus within a particular area of personal injury litigation.
Responsibilities will include progressing claims efficiently, conducting case reviews where liability is disputed or complexity arises, handling matters where settlement or costs proposals have been rejected, and carrying out further investigations where required. You will also prepare cases for hearing, instruct counsel when necessary, and attend hearings as appropriate. Administrative support will be provided as required, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality fee-earning work and client care.
Key Details:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sheffield, with hybrid working available.
