Zetland Vets, Stoke Bishop, Bristol, South West We are looking for an enthusiastic GP Vet to work in our two vet clinic in Stoke Bishop, managing the small team there and providing care to the lovely dedicated client base. Our Stoke Bishop surgery has a very experienced team to support you and a lovely, dedicated client base willing to go above and beyond for their pets.
What’s on offer for you? You will have lots of support from experienced colleagues with Certificates in Surgery, Feline medicine, and Small Animal Medicine. Your working week will over four days, and you will also be part of the shared weekend rota. There are no night duties or bank holiday work. The Stoke Bishop site has a full-time registered nurse, a VCA, and very experienced receptionists to support you.
The Stoke Bishop site has the ability to perform operations, with x-ray (both routine and dental) and we have a mobile ultrasound that can be brought to the clinic if needed. The shift would be two days a week operating and consulting, and two days consulting only. Ideally, we are looking for a full-time candidate with 39.5 hours over 4 days available, with a fixed day off alternating between Wednesdays and Fridays.
About You We are looking for a Vet with more than 1 year of post-graduation experience. Our new Vet must be able and willing to perform GP work, including consultations. Our ideal candidate will be organised, and a good communicator with both clients and colleagues.
