Recovery Worker
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: A GBP 24,000 per annum

As a Recovery Worker, youll play a vital role within an integrated healthcare framework, supporting adults affected by drug and alcohol dependency. Youll deliver client:centred treatment through both harm reduction and abstinence:based approaches, helping service users achieve lasting change.
Youll manage a caseload, deliver structured 1:1 and group interventions, and coordinate care with partner agencies in health, housing, and employment to ensure every client receives holistic support.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised care plans.
* Deliver effective 1:1 sessions, group work, and structured treatment programmes.
* Provide harm reduction advice and coordinate with healthcare and community partners.
* Motivate and support clients to engage with their treatment and recovery goals.
* Manage and prioritise a caseload, meeting KPIs and service deadlines.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and data (including NDTMS).
* Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety standards.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service improvement.
About You
* Experience supporting people with substance misuse or related needs.
* Skilled in assessment, care planning, and motivational work.
* Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
* Flexible approach with willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel when required.
* Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development.
