Job Summary

As a Deputy Home Manager you’ll be making sure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. It will mean providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that’s unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.


Main Duties

HC-One are looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice. You will have a background in person‑centred care planning within a care home. You’ll bring brilliant, positive energy, natural ability to get along with people, be a great mentor, manage time effectively and keep meaningful records, and communicate with residents and co‑workers in a considerate and kind manner.

Responsibilities

As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure clinical care standards are exceeded, provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervise/co‑coach colleagues to deliver unparalleled empathy for resident issues.

* Valid NMC Pin
* Knowledge of National Standards and NMC code of practice
* Background in person‑centred care planning within a care home
* Brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people
* Excellent mentoring, time‑management and record‑keeping skills
* Considerate, kind communication style with residents and co‑workers

* Degree in Nursing and UK NMC Pin Qualified
