Group Technology Strategy
Our team is at the centre of the Technology function that spans across our IT, Networks, Cloud, Enterprise Tech, Reliability & Cyber organisations – working in close partnership with teams across Sky Group & Comcast. You’ll be shaping the strategic priorities and driving delivery of business-critical enterprise transformation programmes for the most senior leaders across our companies – to ensure we continue to bring a world class experience to our millions of customers across Europe.
What You'll Do
* Shape strategic commercial initiatives and technology transformation programmes, leading engagement with our stakeholders and bringing together a cross-functional group across multiple teams in Group Technology.
* Own relationships with key stakeholders across our commercial & service organisations, taking time to understand their business context and challenges and bringing the best of Group Technology to support.
* Design and drive cross-functional operating model transformations within Technology to achieve Sky’s business objectives.
* Lead on the initiation of key platform transformation programmes, defining requirements based on business and technology priorities and working with Group Architecture & Engineering teams to steer solution design and delivery approach.
* Input to annual long range planning, investment & budget processes to ensure that our top initiatives are captured in our Technology strategy and roadmaps.
* Ensure decisions are made effectively by credibly managing a wide array of senior stakeholders, balancing priorities and making sound trade-offs.
* Craft concise, tailored messaging and present robust, practical recommendations to leadership to obtain their agreement and buy-in.
* Work closely with Finance, Procurement and HR to ensure all initiatives have a clear business case to justify investment and lead RFPs and vendor engagement where required.
* Collaborate with our partners in Comcast and NBCU, as well as external partners, to conduct analysis, define requirements and unlock a path to delivery in our scaled engineering functions.
* Bring technology thought leadership into the wider Group Technology team, including on new innovations & AI.
* Working alongside the most senior stakeholders at Comcast, Sky, and NBCU, this is a high profile, rewarding role and is not for the faint-hearted.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience leading or contributing to large-scale transformation, technology, or operating model programmes - consultancy or product strategy experience is highly valued.
* Demonstrated experience in shaping and delivering product or technology strategy is essential - you can translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
* Experience in emerging technologies, AI, and digital transformation within enterprise-scale organisations.
* Strong track record of developing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across large, complex organisations - ideally within technology, media, or related sectors.
* Able to connect business and technology priorities, identify interdependencies, and shape initiatives that align to broader organisational goals.
* Intellectually curious, with a methodical approach to breaking down complex issues, identifying root causes, and proposing practical solutions.
* Confident presenting to C-suite level, crafting clear recommendations, and securing buy-in for strategic initiatives.
* Results-driven, with the ability to prioritise, manage ambiguity, and deliver impact in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
