Role Overview
We are seeking qualified and experienced Social Workers to join our temporary agency workforce. You will play a vital role in supporting our Social Services Directorate, ensuring high-quality service delivery across Adult and Child and Family Services.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while enjoying flexibility and variety in your assignments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload appropriate to the assigned team (e.g., child protection, care planning, disability support).
* Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Adhere to policies, including confidentiality, data protection, and health & safety.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Registration:
* Social Work BSc (Hons) or MSc (or equivalent if qualified outside the UK).
* Current registration with Social Care Wales.
* Signs of Safety training completed.
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience (newly qualified candidates cannot be considered).
* Experience relevant to the team you are applying for (e.g., child protection, disability services, foster care).
Other Criteria:
* UK driving license and access to a vehicle with valid business insurance (required for work purposes).
* 90 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the last 3 years (self-employed candidates must provide evidence of training quality).
* Willingness to undergo background checks as part of due diligence process.
