Role Description
The Women’s Head Coach is a hands‑on coaching position responsible for the performance, development and culture of the Senior Women’s squad. The postholder will combine strong technical coaching ability with the leadership skills required to create a positive, ambitious and supportive team environment.
The position reporting to the DoR, will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of our Women’s and Girls’ rugby ambition: to grow and strengthen women’s rugby, establish a fully sustainable Women’s and Girls’ pathway, re‑establish youth teams, and achieve a top‑three position in National Challenge League One. The postholder will also be responsible for managing the agreed budget for the Senior Women’s programme.
This role is not solely focused on technical coaching ability. Equal importance is placed on the ability to create the right environment, build strong relationships, and deliver an engaging and enjoyable experience for players.

* RFU coaching award or higher qualification
