Job Overview: Seeking an on-site IT support resource to assist with laptop deployments. The role involves configuring devices, updating asset records, and supporting users during setup.

2. Contract: 5th May’26 – 30th Oct’26

5. Umbrella Rate: £ (via a Hays approved umbrellapany).
6. PAYE Basic Rate: £
7. Hours: hours a week. Monday – Friday.
8. Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
JOB DESCRIPTION:
9. Required for Windows 11 rollout, will be required to build, deploy and dmission devices.
10. Build new Windows 11 devices using standardised images and task sequences
11. Enrol devices into Microsoft Intune / Autopilot (or SCCM where applicable)
12. Install core applications (Microsoft 365 Apps, VPN, security tools, line‑of‑business apps)
13. Deploy Windows 11 devices to end users in line with rollout schedule
14. Dmission legacy Windows 10 devices in line with IT policies
15. Backup, restoration, and migration of user data
16. Securely wipe data using approved tools and methods
17. Remove devices from Azure AD / Intune / CMDB systems
18. Manage laptop and device handover to multiple users and sites
19. IT equipment Install/Move/Add/Change and Disposal (data wipe and end of life support)
20. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to resolveplex issues
21. Update asset registers and deployment tracking sheets
22. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
23. Must be SC cleared
