Our Community Assistant will work in all areas of our Community Hub, covering a broad range of duties depending on what is happening that day. Because of this, we need someone who is ‘hands on’ and willing to get involved in a wide variety of tasks; including welcoming and supporting someone experiencing crisis or difficulty, providing practical support through our Pantry Store, charity shop and our Café including manual handling of stock, donation and deliveries; serving customers in the Charity Shop; taking orders in the Café; carrying out general admin duties; supporting volunteers; or helping to manage larger events being held at the Hub. The Community Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Community Hub to run effectively and for the benefit of our community.Core skills required
