We’re looking for an experienced senior insurance professional to lead on claims management and support delivery of an effective insurance programme. What you’ll do * Line manage a Claims Handler and oversee ~400 claims per year * Drive performance of internal claims handling and manage a third-party claims administrator (PI / claims over £25k) * Maintain and improve the claims system and processes, ensuring accurate, timely data * Produce regular MI reports, trend analysis, and financial insight to support renewals/tenders * Investigate claims, assess liability, negotiate and authorise settlements up to £25k * Audit claim files and ensure compliance with legislation/FOI/data disclosure * Provide technical insurance advice and support risk management activity * Build strong relationships with insurers, brokers, solicitors, adjusters, and partners * Deputise for the Insurance Manager and lead policy tendering/management What you’ll need * 5 GCSEs incl.
