A warm, forward-looking Independent School in Birmingham is appointing a reflective EYFS Teacher on a Part-Time basis, starting January 2026. This EYFS Teacher post offers teachers the chance to work in a highly supportive early years department while maintaining a healthy work–life balance: the Part-Time EYFS Teacher will teach core days, attend phase meetings and join CPD from January 2026.

• EYFS Teacher required on a Part-Time contract from January 2026
• EYFS Teacher to join a nurturing Independent School in Birmingham
• EYFS Teacher to support a high quality Early Years environment from January 2026

The role — EYFS Teacher (Part-Time)
The EYFS Teacher will deliver a rich, play-based curriculum and build strong relationships with families. The EYFS Teacher will lead focused phonics and communication sessions and use observation to plan meaningful next steps. The Part-Time EYFS Teacher will start planning sessions before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as part of the EYFS team. The Part-Time EYFS Teacher will be involved in transition work and family workshops scheduled in January 2026.

EYFS Teacher – what we need

* An EYFS Teacher with QTS or EYTS and demonstrable Early Years experience.
* An EYFS Teacher practiced in delivering high quality adult-child interactions.
* A caring EYFS Teacher who thrives in collaborative settings.
