Senior Full Stack Developer – National Salary £70,000

About the role
You’ll join our Information and Workplace Retirement (IWR) team at Aviva, supporting the Find and Combine product—a key service that helps customers locate and consolidate their pensions. This role ensures stability, reliability, and performance of the platform, enabling customers to manage their retirement savings with confidence. You’ll focus on Business‑as‑Usual operations, bug fixes, and maintenance, working with developers, a data scientist, and a product owner to deliver seamless service.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
* Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel and Slim frameworks) and solid experience with Python.
* Full stack development experience, including front‑end and back‑end.
* Knowledge of database design, SQL, and version control (Git).
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and solve problems proactively.
* Experience in Agile environments, CI/CD practices and deploying to AWS EKS.

* Starting salary circa £70,000 (national) and £75,000 (London) depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
