As our next Product Data Controller you will manage and maintain accurate ERP master data through digitalisation and optimising standard ERP generated data, supporting efficient manufacturing planning.Role Details:• Role based: New Lane, Huntington, York, YO32 9PT• Contract type: Permanent • Annual on target bonus of 5%• Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days.In this role you will be required to:• Create, update and maintain master data in SAP (ERP system) to support both new and existing product development activities.• Creation of manufacturing SAP data from technical and working drawings• Support remote business units in the UK and Europe with product data trouble shooting• Support product development teams with cost-estimating for new and existing product designs, leveraging SAP expertise.• Implement the bi-annual cost review process within the SAP system.• Deliver accurate manufacturing cost data, including financials related to return on capital, depreciation, and refurbishment costs.• Implement process and procedural improvements to optimise SAP usage and master data maintenance.• Run exception reports to identify and remediate data discrepancies prior to production to ensure seamless manufacturing workflow• Continuous personal development in all facets of Product Data to effectively support the team and in preparation for lead responsibilities• Take ownership of projects, manage timescales and ensure successful deliveryOur Ideal Candidate• Extensive knowledge of SAP• Able to learn quickly and follow set processes and procedures• An understanding of technical and working drawings• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with internal stakeholders and internal customers.• Understanding of cost estimation and financial data related to manufacturing operations.SkillsData Management, Data Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Data Analysis, Technical Expertise, System Administration, Reporting and Documentation, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Data Governance, Training and Support, Conscientious, diligent, attention to detail.
