Leadership & Management:
Management of multiple engagements simultaneously, working under a dedicated Senior Manager and/or Director. Leadership of junior team members to coach and develop their skills and experience around IPA.
Engagement directly with senior stakeholders on the client side (e.g., Programme Directors and CFOs) to robustly and articulately describe risk and recommendations from IPA work. Collaborate with senior internal teams to secure resources, deliver, and sign off work.
Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:
This role will contribute to risk management activities over large, multimillion-pound engagements that may span multiple years. IPA work is inherently high risk; thus, adherence to all KPMG risk processes is essential.
What will you be doing?
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business transformation ERP programmes, including challenges and programme assurance requirements.
* Understand all critical workstreams such as PMO, business change, business architecture, testing, data, and cutover/transition, and lead focused reviews in these areas.
* Maintain strong awareness of key risks throughout the programme lifecycle and identify necessary mitigations to address them.
* Translate observations into risks with clear impact articulation and practical recommendations (beyond textbook solutions).
* Manage multiple IPA activities (stage gates, deep dives, etc.) and coordinate with other client assurance activities (such as IA-driven work). Communicate effectively with internal QA teams using appropriate language around 1st/2nd/3rd line defense.
Lead junior team members to deliver high-quality outputs within pressured environments, such as health check reports, stage gate reviews, and assessments of client readiness to progress to subsequent stages.
