About the role
As a Store Manager at Booker, you'll use your skills to help our business grow. Your role involves building relationships with local businesses—cafes, pubs, restaurants, retailers—and ensuring we meet their needs. Booker stores, or Business Centres, serve local communities, offering more than products—they build strong customer relationships and support local businesses.
You will be responsible for
Leading your team to perform at their best, supporting managers, driving sales, and taking responsibility for store operations. Your background could be in retail, wholesale, or managing your own business. You'll be focused on running a safe, legal, and healthy store, while using your expertise to enhance customer satisfaction and grow profits through proactive service and initiative.
You will need
Experience in the food sector and the ability to build rapport with customers. Strong management skills to develop teams, with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach. Comfortable on the shop floor and in a fast-paced environment that includes online and delivery services. Above all, passionate about your store and committed to its success.
