Responsibilities
* Using life skills to help children build self-esteem and progress on their journey into adulthood.
* Engage with a variety of children and young people, some who may require high levels of supervision and support.
* In this leadership role, supervise staff, lead shifts, implement policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, manage rotas, ensure placement plans are followed, and support education.
* Ensure the welfare and care of each child, and provide guidance and support to all residential workers.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Be 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
* At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working with young people.
* Valid manual driving license.
