Duties of the Service Advisor
* Greeting customers and managing vehicle check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently
* Allocating loan vehicles and ensuring all vehicle documentation is accurately processed in the dealer management system
* Managing the progress of all service jobs and liaising with technicians to ensure timely completion
* Maintaining ongoing communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and expectations
* Explaining work carried out and recommending additional services when appropriate
* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and promoting repeat business
Requirements for the role
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchise dealership or similar environment is highly desirable
* Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly manner
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Good communication abilities, both verbal and written
* Full UK driving licence is essential
* Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate a proactive approach
