Ferguson Transport & Shipping is currently recruiting for Shunter Drivers to be based in Corpach, Fort William and Mallaig.
1. 2 Shunter Drivers to share a 4 day on /4 day off shift pattern in Mallaig
2. 1 x Shunter Driver to work in Corpach, Fort William
Full training will be provided in all activities, including Terberg Tug Works Vehicle operation and the safe operation of a forklift truck.
As a Shunter Driver you will drive works vehicles with a variety of attachments; ensure safe and secure loading and unloading and move trailers around site using a Terberg unit.Previous experience within a similar work environment or with forklift operations would be an advantage.
You will need to have:
• a valid UK driving licence
• a positive attitude to work and prepared to follow company policies and procedures
There is potential for this role to be a progressive role and help you to, in time, gain your HGV Class 1 licence.
