Role Overview

The General Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales, revenue, and profitability across the dealership. You will lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve strategic goals and ensure high guest satisfaction.

You should be an ambitious and confident individual with a proven track record in automotive sales management, ideally with at least 2 years in a similar role. Strong computer skills, organizational ability, and a full UK driving license are essential.


Typical Day & Responsibilities

Every day is unique, involving leadership, management, and strategic planning. Key responsibilities include:

1. Recruiting, leading, and developing staff, setting departmental goals.
2. Motivating teams to achieve high guest satisfaction.
3. Promoting company values and policies.
4. Preparing budgets and managing financial performance.
5. Monitoring business performance and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
6. Managing relationships with manufacturers and ensuring targets are met.
7. Maintaining dealership standards and compliance with health, safety, and employment legislation.
8. Overseeing recruitment, training, and HR matters.
