Senior DA Practitioner - Safe Accommodation Services (Volunteer Co-Ordinator)

As a Senior Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Volunteer Coordinator),youlllead on the day-to-day activities of a team of volunteers delivering support and co-delivering group programmes to women who have experienced domestic abuse.Youlllead on supervision,trainingand volunteer recruitment, playing a key part in the ongoing growth,developmentand sustainability of the service.

Please note: This role will involve working across three sites within Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Job requirements

Work in partnership with the Service Manager to design and develop all work activities to meet customer needs, and to ensure that customers accessing the service receive a professional and coordinated response, with up to date, relevant advice and information.

Lead on all aspects of the recruitment, training, and induction of volunteers, as well as all aspects of the delivery and day to day administration and supervision of volunteers and the volunteer programme.

Actively encourage customer involvement and participation in the
